What is ExoGAG?

The ExoGAG precipitation reaction is based on the union between the precipitation solution and the GAGs containing the exosomes, so that once the union is established by a simple incubation, the exosomes can be isolated by a short centrifugation.

Exosomes hold a great potential as a therapy or diagnostic but they are restrained by the current extraction methods: inefficient, slow and costly.

ExoGAG is a simple and fast method to isolate extracellular vesicles from a small sample volume.

Exosomes hold a great potential as a therapy or diagnostic but they are restrained by the current extraction methods: inefficient, slow and costly.

ExoGAG is a specific, quick and inexpensive method to optimize the process of exosome isolation.

Our developments

We analyze the mechanisms by which a tumoural cell is able to leave the primary tumour, and after understanding what it is looking for in another tissue to form metastasis; we change or modulate this process by offering a niche, a much more attractive artificial tissue, where all tumoural cells will preferentially nest.

We, therefore, are able to offer the oncologist the opportunity to take back control of the patient and to return the patient returns to a stage of a located primary tumour where the oncologist has highly effective tools as surgery or radiotherapy.
